Operational discovery · AI automation

Clarity before
automation.

We map how your business actually runs: every workflow, handoff and bottleneck. Then we design, build and maintain the AI automations worth having. Evidence first. Approved by you at every step.

A white architectural model of a city, with black lines tracing clear routes between buildings: a business's workflows, mapped.
What your map captures
  • Every step
  • Who owns it
  • Tools & files
  • Handoffs
  • Where work waits
  • The source behind each claim

The problem

Most AI projects start with a tool. We start with how your business actually works.

A

Critical know-how lives in people's heads, inboxes and spreadsheets.

B

No one sees the full path a job takes from first request to finished work.

C

So automation gets bolted onto guesses, and breaks on the first exception.

What we do

Three services. One continuous line from understanding to results.

White documents and blueprints on a white table, connected to each other by fine black threads.

01 · Discovery

We learn how your business works.

Short interviews with the people who do the work, plus the documents you choose to share, turned into a validated map of your workflows and a ranked list of what's worth automating.

A precision mechanism of white ceramic gears and black metal plates.

02 · Implementation

We build the automations worth building.

Only what you approve, built to a written specification, tested on your past work and launched with human checkpoints where judgement matters.

03 · Intelligence

We keep it running and keep it current.

Monitoring, support and regular map refreshes, so your automations keep pace as your people, tools and processes change.

How it works

Five steps. You're in control at each one.

Nothing moves forward without your sign-off. You can stop after any step and keep everything we've produced.

Start with step 01
  1. 01

    Scope

Agree on what we'll look at, and what we won't.

A short call about how your business runs and where work gets stuck. Then a written scope: which workflows, which people, which documents, and what stays out.

You getA fixed scope and price, in writing.

  2. 02

    Discover

We learn the work from the people who do it.

Structured interviews of about 20 minutes each, built around real recent jobs: what starts the work, what's needed, who checks it, where it waits. You share only the documents you select. Nothing in your systems changes.

You getYour team's know-how captured in their own words, and reviewed by them.

  3. 03

    Map

See how work actually moves through your business.

We turn interviews and documents into an interactive map of each workflow: every step, owner, tool, handoff and delay. Each statement links to its source. Anything unconfirmed is marked unknown, never guessed.

You getA living map of your operations that you can explore and share.

  4. 04

    Validate & plan

Confirm the picture. Choose what's worth automating.

The people who do the work review and correct the map. Then we rank automation opportunities by value, cost and risk, with the human checkpoints each one needs.

You getA validated map and a clear automation plan. Stopping here is a complete result.

  5. 05

    Build & run

Automations proven on your past work before they touch live work.

We build only what you approve, to a written specification. Each automation is tested on your historical cases, with errors reported alongside successes. Then we launch it with monitoring, a rollback plan and ongoing support.

You getWorking automations, measured against the outcomes we agreed.

What a map looks like

Every step. Every owner. Every source.

Each workflow becomes a sequence you can read in a minute: who does what, with which tools, how long work waits, and what's backed by evidence. The bottlenecks become obvious, and so do the opportunities.

How we work

Built on trust, by design.

Access starts at zero.

You choose exactly which folders and files we can read, and nothing else. Read-only by default. Pause or revoke at any time.

Evidence over assumptions.

Every statement on your map links back to an interview or a document. If we don't know something, the map says so.

People approve. AI assists.

No automation prices, sends, submits or deletes anything without sign-off from a named person on your team.

No surveillance.

We map work, not people. No hidden monitoring, no keystroke tracking, no employee scoring.

Engagements

Start small. Expand when it's proven.

Every engagement has a fixed scope and a written quote before work begins. Discovery stands on its own. You're never committed to implementation.

01

Focused assessment

One workflow, mapped and validated, with a prioritized list of automation opportunities.

Best to test the approach
02

Operational discovery

One or two departments and three to five core workflows, validated with your team, plus an automation plan.

Best before investing in AI
03

Implementation

A scoped project to build, test and launch automations from an approved specification.

Best once the plan is clear
04

Intelligence & support

A monthly plan covering monitoring, support and map refreshes as your business changes.

Best after launch

Best fit

Owner-led businesses of roughly 10 to 50 people whose work runs on documents, spreadsheets and email. Construction and estimating teams are our first focus.

Questions

Straight answers.

What does Intelligence 33 actually do?

We work out how your business runs and show you clearly where AI and automation would help, and where they wouldn't. Then we build and maintain the automations you approve.

Do you need access to all of our files?

No. Access starts at zero. You pick specific folders or documents, or simply upload them. Access is read-only by default and you can revoke it at any time.

Will AI make decisions for our business?

No. AI drafts, checks and prepares. People approve anything that matters: prices, messages, submissions and deletions always need sign-off from a named person.

Which AI do you use, and what happens to our data?

We use Anthropic's Claude, called from our own secure servers, and only with evidence you've approved. Your data stays within your engagement. It is never pooled with other clients' data or used to train AI models.

What if we only want the map?

That's a complete outcome. The map and the plan are yours to keep. Implementation is always scoped and quoted separately.

How do we get started?

Book a discovery call. We'll talk through how your business runs and where work gets stuck, then recommend either a focused assessment or a full discovery.
